An iconic location in the city's west end - Paris Paris is located at 146 Ossington Ave, Toronto, ON M6J 2Z5 in a converted auto garage on the vibrant and bustling Ossington strip.
Paris Paris offers seasonal, contemporary, bistro-inspired cuisine with a multicultural flare, while our bar has an emphasis on fun wines, fine spirits, and inspired cocktails.
We are trying to build a team of dedicated hard-working individuals who have the skills to bring our customers the best and fastest service possible.
Job Duties:
- Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
- Prepare and cook complete dishes as per customer orders
- Prepare meats for cooking different dishes as per the requirements on a daily basis
- Cook rice, vegetables and side dishes and prepare special sauce as per our recipes
- Schedule employees, supervise kitchen helpers and oversee kitchen operations
- Reordering stock and food supplies as per the requirements
- Control food wastage
- Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Assure kitchen, work areas and equipment are clean and sanitized as per the health standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Ability to work as part of a team

- Must be flexible to work any shift and any day of the week.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least one years' experience working as a Cook with a wellestablished restaurant/hotel
- A diploma in cooking/hospitality from a recognized institute is required
