Description

Connex Personnel is currently recruiting a Construction Management Representative (CMR) for an upcoming project in Bay d'Espoir, NL.

As a CMR, you will act as the engineering representative for contractor inspection and management.

Responsibilities will include conducting tailboards, completing inspector daily reports, and ensuring the contractor is following their safety plan and the companies.

Contractor work involves bathymetry scan of tailrace and headrace, ROV inspection of draft tube infrastructure, concrete cores of draft tube and geotechnical investigation at a generating facility.

Anticipated Start Date:
On site for August 16, 2023

Estimated duration/End date:
September 22, 2023

Required background/experience:

Civil or Structural preferred.

Knowledge and familiarity with BDE facility and operations preferred.

Required Training:

Fall Arrest

First Aid

Powerline Hazards

WHMIS
Some weekend work required. Working hours are 12 hours per day. CMR shall work with Contractor's schedule. CMR must use their personal laptop, cell phone with camera and have all basic PPE.
