Job Title:
Dispatcher


Status:
Full Time Permanent (40 Hours per week)


Report to:
General Manager


Purpose & Scope:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage key client accounts and answer and direct incoming calls
  • Receive requests from client over phone, web, portal etc.
  • Triage incoming requests and assign appropriate priorities
  • Manage and prepare the technician schedules daily using the ticketing system
  • Monitor the ticketing system for any outstanding tickets, high priority ticket follow ups and updates, to ensure that the client is communicated with in a timely and consistent manner
  • Coordinate and schedule onsite visits for technicians/contractors
  • Create follow up tasks for technicians as needed on outstanding tickets
  • Interact with clients to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services
  • Assist with procurement and licensing, both for internal stakeholders as well as clients
  • Assist with handling and processing warranty claims
  • Follow up on receivables as needed
  • Manage the dispatch board
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Knowledge of interior geography and familiarity with area
  • Knowledge of various trades (electrical)
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs and aptitude to learn new software systems
  • Industry knowledge considered an asset
