Description

The Live-Out - Assistant Building Superintendent is responsible for the general upkeep of the facilities and for responding to residents' inquiries/emergencies, as well as conducting regular inspections of the property and its systems to verify the safety and condition of all aspects of the interior and exterior of the building.

The following qualities would be beneficial:

have experience with Condominiums

- possess attention to detail
- have experience coordinating the implementation of repairs

Have experience with mechanical systems (fire safety equipment, heat pumps, hot water heaters, etc.)
Have experience with cleaning (condominiums, commercial, etc.)
Have experience driving a tractor trailer

- possess experience with contractors and maintenance personnel
- are reliable;
- are flexible (weekend and on-call coverage);
- are organized;
- exercise good and sound judgement;
- have excellent oral communication skills;
- have excellent interpersonal skills;
- take initiative;
- possess, at minimum, a secondary (high school) graduation certificate;
- have the ability to handle up to 23 kgs (50 lbs);
- have the ability to carry out small repairs/painting, as required
- no criminal background (checks will be conducted);
- possesses a valid Ontario driver's license
- possesses a WHMIS Certificate; and
- fluency in English an asset

Salary:
From $35,000.00 per year
