About CCRM:


Role Summary:


The Logistics Supervisor will oversee the onsite and warehouse activities of the Supply Chain Technicians and Associates, and provide logistics updates to the Associate Director.

They will also hold regular meetings with the Supply Chain Technicians and Associates and participate in setting and reviewing their annual goals.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and supervise activities of the onsite Logistics and warehouse teams.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Logistics team members, including setting and reviewing the annual goals of team members.
  • Provide updates to Project Managers.
  • Work with the Supply Chain Planning Supervisor to assure project materials are available and released.
  • Update logistics key performance indicators, as necessary.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in sciences, supply chain, logistics or a related discipline
  • 12 years of experience with material movements in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) setting
  • Experience working in a warehouse
  • Flexibility to work in both Toronto and Hamilton
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of electronic batch record systems

Desired Characteristics:


  • Detailoriented and demonstrated ability to adhere to protocols.
  • Knowledge of any of the following is an advantage: inventory metrics or material requirements planning, storage and transportation of hazardous or infectious materials.
  • Experience working for a contract manufacturing organization.
  • Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Leads by example by proactively identifying problems and areas for improvement.
  • Driven to understand, meet and exceed customers' expectations and requirements.
  • Takes a collaborative approach to working with crossfunctional teams, with good multicultural awareness.
  • Likes handson work and interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an assertive, responsible and accountable attitude.
  • Demonstrated experience managing people.
