Reporting directly to the Director, Clinical Research and Medical Affairs and the Principal Investigator, CAMH is seeking a full-time contract (12 months) Research Analyst to provide support in a research project led by youth with lived/living experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges.

In this position, you will work on a participatory research project on COVID-19 confidence using the photovoice methodology. You will identify as a youth with lived/living experience.

You will complete literature reviews on the topic and assist with the analysis of the data emerging from this project.

You will support the full range of activities in the analysis and reporting stage of this study in continuation of the progress to date, including documentation, Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions, data analysis, reporting, and ongoing communication with a lived/living experience advisory group.

Involvement in other research projects may be required, as needed.


Qualifications:


  • Experience with qualitative research, including working with qualitative interview transcripts, qualitative coding and analysis using software such as NVivo, is required.
  • Experience working with youth with lived/living experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges in an engagement capacity is required.
  • Experience with submissions to Research Ethics Boards and conduct of research projects involving human participants is required.
  • Knowledge of participatory research methodologies, such as Photovoice, is a strong asset.
  • Experience with data entry and REDCap is required; previous experience in basic data analyses and statistical software packages (ex. SAS, SPSS) is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrable knowledge of youth mental health in association with COVID1
  • Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.

Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.

This full-time, contract (12 months) position is part of the OPSEU bargaining unit.


Salary Range:
$ $33.38 per hour
