Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline and four years of related experience in the delivery of compensation services to a diverse community or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.


  • Excellent knowledge of best practices related to compensation administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of University policies, collective agreements and compensation procedures and processes.
  • Good knowledge of point factor methodologies, including the Korn Ferry Hay Group Methodology.
  • Working knowledge of the design and analysis of custom salary surveys in job evaluation. Intermediate analytical reasoning, conflict resolution and problemsolving skills.
  • Intermediate interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intermediate client service skills.
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of empathy, tact, diplomacy and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • Ability to perform calculations and record data with extremely high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to establish priorities multitask and complete assignments under nonnegotiable deadlines.
  • Ability to work with large datasets with precise, critical attention to detail.
  • Ability to formulate recommendations related to compensation processes and policies.
