Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline and four years of related experience in the delivery of compensation services to a diverse community or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Excellent knowledge of best practices related to compensation administration.
Excellent knowledge of University policies, collective agreements and compensation procedures and processes.
Good knowledge of point factor methodologies, including the Korn Ferry Hay Group Methodology.
Working knowledge of the design and analysis of custom salary surveys in job evaluation. Intermediate analytical reasoning, conflict resolution and problemsolving skills.
Intermediate interpersonal and communication skills.
Intermediate client service skills.
Ability to exhibit a high level of empathy, tact, diplomacy and discretion.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
Ability to perform calculations and record data with extremely high degree of accuracy.
Ability to establish priorities multitask and complete assignments under nonnegotiable deadlines.
Ability to work with large datasets with precise, critical attention to detail.
Ability to formulate recommendations related to compensation processes and policies.
