What to expect

Responsibilities

  • Design
  • Consult with relevant stakeholders and/or conduct research to uncover explicit and implicit user needs and clarify requirements
  • Develop user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes as needed
  • Provide support as needed on other general design duties, such as image manipulation, asset development, etc.
  • Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to understand product requirements and clarify use cases
  • Solicit and incorporate feedback from other teammates across the organization into design decisions
  • Collaborate with Developers and review ongoing work for proper and accurate implementation
  • Collaborate across functions within product and business teams to drive out user journeys and user experience in alignment with product use cases and requirements
  • Design
systems and standards

  • Participating in shaping, defining and implementing our expanding library of design standards and patterns by creating a standard yet evolving design system
  • Ensure that product materials are maintained at a high level of quality and professional standards
  • Task and Project Management
  • Support Director, Innovation by taking on responsibility for organizing and managing small projects, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, tracking and reporting progress, and participating in a handson capacity for individual tasks
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Junior Product Analysts students to understand and deliver their tasks

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical/design field or equivalent experience in UX/UI
  • 12 years experience working with multidisciplinary product delivery or design teams and/or software development lifecycle
  • Strong background and experience in usercentric design
  • Equally comfortable in Agile team/squad level interactions as in clientfacing meetings
  • Proficiency in working with Lean, Design Thinking, and Agile delivery practices
  • Have a good skill base in User Testing, Journey Mapping, and User Profiles generations

Relevant skills

  • Appetite and proficiency to design complex data visualizations and interfaces alike
  • Holistic systemthinker capable of balancing client needs, risk management and team capacity
  • Affinity for execution plans, knowledge management and smooth processes
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Mac OS
