Qualifications:

Essential:


  • Experience providing legal, secretarial and administrative support with respect to both litigation and general legal matters or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Extensive experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience entering and retrieving information from computerized systems and databases
  • Effective oral communication skills in English
  • Effective oral communication skills in French
  • Excellent written communication skills in English with the ability to prepare correspondence to a variety of internal and external contacts

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Experience handling and maintaining sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner
  • Interpersonal skills including the abilty to interact effectively with departmental staff
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail

Duties:

The position is a designated bilingual position and provides reception and administrative support for the Finance and Administration area.

The position is required to ensure adequate administrative support with respect to service the public and stakeholders of the Commission.

As a designated bilingual position it provides French language services.
