We are seeking a Property Manager for one of JLL's key client portfolios in Mississauga and the GTA. The main building is located in Mississauga where the team works two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday). Other buildings are located in Etobicoke, Burlington and North York. A vehicle is required for site visits including frequent inspections and tenant interactions.


The Property Manager who will play a crucial role in maintaining open communication with tenants, promptly attending to their requests and complaints in accordance with our company standards and procedures.

As part of our team, we will rely on your superior customer service skills, ensuring tenants are comfortable and security, operational, and financial inquiries are addressed effectively.

Additionally, you will play a key role in managing, coaching, and mentoring our building operations and administrative staff.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Manage, coach, and mentor building operations and administrative staff
Prepare budgets, reports, and track variances for financial and operational management
Work closely with operation to oversee the execution of a preventative maintenance program for plant and equipment
Liaise with tenants and assist with tenant initiatives
Review prices and monitor maintenance/service contracts for cost-effective operations
Implement processes, systems, and best practices to maximize net income and collaborate with leasing for optimal occupancy
Ensure all vacant spaces are marketable to minimize downtime and increase revenue
Conduct regular inspections of the properties and maintain maintenance standards


WHAT YOU BRING:

5+ years' experience in property management
2+ years in a management role in a commercial setting
Strong financial acumen and experience with capital budgets
Industry-related certification is considered an asset
Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge of HVAC, building systems, construction process, and ability to read drawings required.
