THE POSITION
Keyera is currently seeking a Maintenance Lead to join our Brazeau River Facility near Drayton Valley, Alberta.
This role supports the day to day operations and maintenance needs of our facility with a 5 day/week shift
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Lead day to day maintenance activities for safe and reliable plant operations
- Responsible for the AMR scheduling process in coordination with Maintenance Planner
- Provide oversight and quality assurance of the AMR workflow process within the maintenance group
- Support and manage the weekly maintenance schedule and assign work orders to the appropriate crafts
- Adjust the maintenance schedule to accommodate emergency work/break in or changing work priorities
- Work with the Maintenance Planner to ensure maintenance activities are planned/coordinated with Operations team
- In coordination with Operations Leadership
- Validate, prioritize and approve incoming service requests
- Responsible to work with Plant Operations to manage work order backlog
- Validate and approve CM/PM maintenance job plans including scope, materials, crafts and durations.
- Establish maintenance plan revision process with a continuous improvement focus that includes work order sign off and job history capture.
- Support facility procurement needs through the SCM process within the financial authority matrix guidelines
- Provide frontline visible leadership presence and reinforcement of our Cultural Behaviors and Values
- Actively participate in Health and Safety Initiatives within the maintenance group
- Lead Annual Development Reviews with maintenance staff and ensure the continuous growth in their positions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade Certification or Power Engineering Certification
- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in facility maintenance
- Leadership, supervisory and mentoring experience considered an asset
- Previous Maximo or other MMS maintenance planning/scheduling experience
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and an incident and injuryfree workplace
- Ability to work effectively across departmental boundaries
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of building and sustaining budgets
- Shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset
- Valid driver's license with the ability to provide 5year standard driver abstract with zero demerit points (clean driver's abstract)
