Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist - Canadian Brokerage Operations is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Leader in identifying and reducing risk to our business

Key Responsibilities (Supervisory/Materials/Information)

  • Review new high risk items as identified daily
  • Assist in providing reports to senior management team
  • Assign HS classification to new items
  • Liaise with CBO teams to understand needs of the business
  • Review new rulings, CITT decisions, etc
  • Perform database maintenace and handle regulatory/compliance duties includeing database audits
  • Perform a variety of other tasks as assigned by managment
Education and Experience

  • High School diploma
  • Current CCS Designation
  • 3 or more years brokerage experience required with at least 1 year of verifiable classification experience

Working Conditions, Mental Effort & Physical Requirements- Ability to sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to focus on computer screen and / or written materials for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity required to use desk top computer and peripherals
  • Some travel may be required
