    Description

    CareCorp Senior Services is a reputable company specializing in providing top-notch healthcare, food services, housekeeping, and laundry services to long-term care facilities throughout BC.

    We are on the lookout for a kind-hearted and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who deeply cares for the elderly to become part of our team at our lovely Long-Term Care Facilities.

    Facility Address: Maeford Place, Quesnel, BC

    Schedule Details: Thursday-Sunday 16:00-00:00; Monday 09:00-15:30

    Compensation: $32.84 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs assessments.
    • Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
    • Administers oral and subcutaneous medications following pharmaceutical and organizational guidelines.
    • Directly supervises care staff to ensure residents' needs are met.
    • Carries out other assigned duties.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
    • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
    • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Background in Dementia care (preferred).
    • Preferably, cultural education and experience.

    The ideal candidate for this position must show proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination and any necessary booster. Exceptions apply for protected human rights reasons.     Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: $32.84 per hour

    Flexible Language Requirement:

    • French proficiency not mandatory

    Schedule:

    • 8-hour shifts
    • Day, Evening, Monday to Friday, Morning, Night shifts, Overtime, Weekends as necessary

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree (advantageous)

    Licence/Certification:

    • BCCN&M Number (mandatory)
    • First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)

    Work Location: On-site
