Customer Service Representative to join our team.
Position Overview
Span Medical Products is committed to being a customer focused organization, recognized for prompt attention to customer requests and inquiries.
The Sales and Service Coordinator provides crucial sales and administrative support to customers, field sales and the internal sales and service team.
Position Responsibilities Include;Provide additional support for all incoming calls to the sales and service departments to identify and triage caller inquiries, answering inquiries if able or re-routing to the appropriate department.
Provide administrative support to the sales and service departments, creating customer profiles, providing acknowledgement response to customer and sales representatives of order receipt and entering relevant information into the Visual Manufacturing system.
Gather incoming order requests from various methods including incoming calls, faxes or EDI orders from Span America and route requests to the appropriate department, in a timely manner.
Cross train in sales and service functions including preparation of quotes, purchasing of case goods, mattresses, field sales order entry, parts and return materials authorization order management, outbound logistics freight quotes and providing baseline technical support.
Must be able to liaise with all other Span departments and distributors to provide the services most suitable to the customer's needs, costs and time constraints.
Post-Secondary or High School graduation plus business courses and /or 3+ year work related experience.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and possess strong communication skills, as liaison with customers and colleagues is a key focus within the job.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and any have the ability to learn other software related to the business processes of Span Medical Products.
Must be highly organized with a high level of administrative ability to effectively manage paperwork and meet the deadlines required to provide prompt and efficient service.
High degree of discretion and confidentiality and must exhibit a commitment to teamwork.
