RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary

The Research Associate will lead a systematic review on the Impact of gender on access to care and clinical outcomes of common pediatric surgical conditions in low and middle income countries in the Middle East, Asia, and other global settings.

Also to contribute research expertise to ongoing research projects with the CommiSur Lab.

General Duties

Lead the team researching this question, including trainees and learners that would be assigned to this project.
Create search protocol
Perform systematic review
Write manuscript

Doctorate Degree

Field of Study:
Pediatric surgery

Work Experience:
Pediatric surgeon

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision.
Additional information

Status:
Temporary, part time

Pay Scale:
Commensurate with education and experience

Work Shift: 20 hours per week

Work Site:
Glen site
