About this opportunity


The WIP & Payroll Coordinator is responsible for supporting and reviewing Work in Progress in order to reduce administrative work in Clinics through WIP entry/verification, schedule verification and payroll support in order to meet established quality standards.

This role will ensure that information is accurate and in compliance with agreed standards.

Pay range for the position: 33,000-49,000k annually.


Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

WIP and Schedule Verification (60%)

  • Verifies WIP where applicable for data completeness and accuracy (including cancelled/no show/pro bono visits), and fixes as needed, for submission to Finance for invoicing.
  • Resolution of billing errors with internal stakeholders and identifying repeated errors to manager.
  • Collaborates with Experience Associate (EA) to resolve "pending" items not marked "treat" in the system.
  • Reviews new cases for accuracy in case, price and payer set up, and works with internal stakeholders to escalate errors or missing data.
  • Completes service delivery audits as required.
  • Completes invoice generation where applicable, ensuring all necessary information is included, and notifies Finance once complete.
  • Identifies and resolves schedule issues in alignment with clinic leadership.

Payroll (40%)

  • Audits payroll submission and IC invoices as indicated to ensure accuracy.
  • Executes and conducts all practices with integrity and in alignment to Best Practice and CBI policy including the Privacy Policy and Confidentiality Agreements.

What you need to be successful

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience with data/statistical analysis an asset.
  • Strong data processing skills an asset.
  • Demonstrated track record of trustworthiness with attention to confidentiality.
  • Capable of taking a balanced and commonsense approach to routine and complex issue
