Parts Picker
Working under general supervision, move materials to various areas inside and outside the facility using powered fork lift truck. Control material movement. Transport material between departments while ensuring proper routing of material is maintained. Pick orders, and take inventory. Fully trained to facilitate receipt, storage and dispatch of packaged inventory.

Key Accountabilities

Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
Accurately match numbers & letters
Accurately stage and sort products for loading
Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
Safely handle and move materials within the warehouse
Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
Maintain a clean and safe work area, compliant with all safety requirements

Minimum Requirements

Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
Attention to detail
Exceptional organization skills
Time management skills
Perform quality checks on parts
Ability to lift regularly heavy objects
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Basic computer skills is an asset
Training and certification in operating a lift truck is an asset
