Department Overview
TD Merchant Solutions (TDMS) provides reliable, flexible and easy to use card payment solutions to corporate, commercial and small business clients.
A wide selection of payment processing solutions includes Point of Sale (POS) terminals, PC Software and E-Commerce card processing solutions that allow businesses to authorize and settle their payment card transactions electronically, whether the payment is debit or credit card.
TDBFG is the only bank in Canada which directly operates a merchant processor/acquirer, resulting in unique opportunities and challenges in a highly competitive environment.
TDMS' Merchant Delivery Team is responsible for:
- Deployment, Installation and Maintenance of POS equipment across Canada.
- Management and coordination of Vendor Partners throughout Canada.
- Complete Lifecycle Management and Inventory Control of all TDowned POS equipment.
- Security Key injection of POS equipment.
- Scheduling and implementation of major product rollouts
Reporting to the Manager, Merchant Delivery this position manages a dynamic team responsible for facilitating the on-site installation support of Point of Sale equipment and functional training to TD merchants throughout Canada.
This position also works closely with other areas within Merchant Solutions to support new product launches, large merchant rollout project s and other Point of Sale device related in-field activities.
This role is best suited for an enthusiastic professional with a positive "can do" approach, who will proactively execute against the Role Charter and deliver on performance metrics.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of people management experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Process driven based on a Quality Management foundation
- Contact centre management an asset
- Act as a change agent for the overall business
- Ability to interface with a variety of business units to implement a common goal
- Work effectively in a teambased environment in both lead and subordinate roles
- Strategic thinker
- Strong multitasker
- Strong analytical skills ability to identify issues, develop solutions and provide insights
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Facilitation experience is an asset
- Technical/Development background is an asset
- Able and willing to "roll up sleeves" to deliver projects
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products
