Regional Trainer


Battlefield Equipment Rentals has an immediate opening for a Regional Trainer, working out of our Sudbury location, and operating through the Northern Region.

This location is a constantly busy, quickly growing facility that operates with a goal-oriented and customer-driven team.

The Regional Trainer position is imperative to offering safe, easy to understand, and regulation sanctioned training to our customer base and employees, while ensuring we maintain an environment within our organization that is responsible and committed to safety.

The Regional Trainer continually monitors, inspires, and improves these behaviours.

  • The Conduct safety training to internal and external customers;
  • Maintain safety records for region;
  • Ensure employee training and legislative requirements are met;
  • Prepare engaging teaching plans;
  • Work with students to identify strengths and weaknesses to fine tune these plans, and direct structured learning experiences.

Key Qualifications

  • The ability to provide excellent customer and internal relations in a constantlychanging, fastpaced environment;
  • A strong background in legislative requirements;
- minimum of two years' experience in a training field, with the ability to prepare engaging teaching plans, identify strengths and weaknesses to fine tune these plans, and direct structured learning experiences;

  • Ability to monitor effectiveness and provide followup as required;
  • Understanding of how to oversee inventory, and disperse training aids, manuals and handouts;
- experience in the construction environment, with some knowledge of construction equipment and products;

  • Strong written and verbal skills;
  • Attention to detail and effective paperwork organization;
  • A selfstarter, with a keen sense of timemanagement and effective planning skills;
  • Good communication and people skills, and experience in speaking to audiences of all sizes;
  • Willingness to travel within and around the province as required;
  • Ability to cater to customer and internal schedules, including possible afterhour requirements;
  • A clean driver's abstract.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bilingual abilities would be considered an asset;
  • Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset.
