Description:

As a Clinical Behavioural Specialist (CBS), you will work in a consultative role within the interdisciplinary team.

You will support the client in the following ways:

psychological testing, crisis intervention, observation and interaction throughout the development and analysis of behaviour tracking data, the creation of programs and guidelines that focus on client strengths, the development of a collaborative recovery client focused care plan.

You will be responsible for providing a holistic perspective of the clients' health, well-being and level of functioning, in a manner that contributes to the clients' quality of life.

Essential to the skill set of the CBS is your ability to demonstrate leadership in terms of program development, administrative responsibilities and mentoring through the model of hands-on recovery-oriented care, as well as assisting with maintaining standards relating to health, safety, and operations of the home and activity area.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Psychology. Minimum of two years' experience in a Mental Health setting. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS - HCP). Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification. Possession of a valid driver's licence and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel.
