Responsibilities.

  • Support our Operations team with billing issues or questions
  • Respond to Client billing questions
  • Provide support to the ebilling team
  • Liaise with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders resolving rejected invoices
  • Review of client guidelines as it pertains to billing
  • Perform competitor analysis on practitioner and service rates
  • Maintain existing pricing schedules
  • Draft rate proposals for new practitioner and service rates
  • Identify ideal pricing structures
  • Support our Marketing team on RFP submissions
  • Provide reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders on client activity including accounts receivable, revenue and client history
  • Respond to team member queries relating to pricing
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Team
Qualifications, competencies and experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating with senior level internal stakeholders
  • 12 years of billing or administrative experience
  • Previous experience working in pricing in the legal industry would be considered an asset
  • Previous experience and knowledge in the area of Intellectual Property is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Keen eye for identifying opportunities
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • This role is English essential, but French language skills would be an asset
  • Experience with 3e Elite is an asset
