Requirements:

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
Diploma or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Event Management is preferred.
Five years' experience as a supervisor in a restaurant or banquet facility.
Knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
Experience working in office administration an asset.
Horse experience an asset but not necessary.

Job Specific / Technical Knowledge

Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to participate in social marketing, creating new ideas for events.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Excellent hospitality skills.
Ability to work outdoors in a farm environment when necessary.
Ability to lead a team to get desired outcomes.
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Ability to perform various activities such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling.
Ability to work well around a large number of people.
Can function in a high paced environment, under short time constraints and within established timelines.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
