JUNIOR BUYERS
Honey is seeking an experienced Junior Buyer to join our team. This position will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and supplies for our facilities. This position will report to the Senior Buyer and have the opportunity to advance within the company.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the junior buyer's budget
  • Negotiate with vendors for best prices and delivery times
  • Research and purchase materials and supplies
  • Maintain records of all purchases, including pricing, availability, and delivery times
  • Build relationships with suppliers and vendors to work on longterm deals that benefit Honey
  • Manage inventory of materials and supplies
  • Identify new suppliers to grow Honey business relationships
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment of warehouse

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience preferred
  • Experience in a fastpaced environment with a strong attention to detail required. Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision. Must also be able to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment. Must have excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, as well as basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on prioritization are required. Must be able to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively is also required.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M6B 4J3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
