**Description: - Permanent Full Time-
You will do:

Quotation of New Business prospects
Managing the pricing of assigned inforce caseload, including performing the annual renewal of rates and expenses, inforce quotes, marketings and approval of amendments
The management of all aspects of the financial reporting for an assigned caseload
Handling field/advisor inquiries, plan changes, reporting needs
Production of financial and service agreements on assigned caseload
Act as an Underwriting resource for various projects and departmental initiatives

What you will bring:

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with sales offices, team members and other internal areas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and shifting priorities
Strong negotiating skills
Customer service focused
Strong mathematical and analytical ability
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Prior experience in Group Underwriting with knowledge of products, Group mainframe (PAS) system, and GroupNet reporting will be considered an asset
Willingness to work towards a GBA or full CEBS designation under the CEBS program
The base salary for this position is between
$49,100:
$73,600** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
