Job Summary:
The Business Enablement Analyst will play a pivotal role in drawing actionable insights from data.

Responsibilities will focus on data architecture, reporting, analytics and process design in collaboration with functional leaders, IT and external vendors.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Build reports/dashboards to address ad hoc business requirements
  • Translate systemic business needs into technical specifications through the development of proofofconcept models
  • Participate in the execution of the user acceptance training (UAT) for each launch
  • Support the creation and maintenance of reporting documentation including user guides and training materials to aid in user training and support
  • Deliver user training on reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to surface actionable insights with execution plans
  • Continuously improve data structures and gathering processes, including implementation of data capture processes or data transformation
  • Analyze competitor and customer industries to identify trends

QUALIFICATIONS:

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in an analyst (or related) role
  • Postsecondary education in business, computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent working experience
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, tools, data structures and database architecture
  • Experience developing in Tableau
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R and/or Python
  • Must be an advanced user of Excel
  • Previous project management/coordination experience
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to conduct indepth (using a variety of sources) and distill information in in a succinct manner so it can be understood by others
  • Self Starter: ability to take initiative and work independently to enhance the data maturity of the organization. Must be able to ramp up in working knowledge of underlying data.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment in an organized and thoughtful manner
Location - this is a hybrid role which would report to our head-office in Cambridge, On.
