We are Hiring a
MIXING/BLENDING/RECYCLING PLASTICS EXTRUSION OPERATOR for one of our clients in
Orangeville. Our client is specific in a global Plastics manufacturer.

The Mixing/Blending/Recycling Plastics Extrusion Operator is responsible for maintaining control of the mixing/blending process through accurate weighing and change over of raw materials and ensuring quality standards are met through precise compound flow.

The role prepares and maintains the flow of materials to the extrusion department by recycling resins back into the process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- review production batch sheets to verify correct raw material input amounts
- input raw materials utilizing both manual and automated systems
- operate automated mixing equipment through use of touch screens
- conduct detailed and efficient cleaning of all process equipment
- perform periodic preventative maintenance on processing equipment
- shredding/grinding/pulverizing of product to put regrind back into process

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude
Physical coordination
Experience with hand held measuring equipment
Good math and computer skills
High attention to detail
Forklift license/experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes

Shifts:12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround
