Accounts Payable Associate position for our office located in Richmond, BC. (Hybrid with 3 days working in the office). The position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively communicate with all departments to ensure accurate and timely payables processing
  • Manage timely vendor communications and perform regular vendor account reconciliation
  • Participate in preparation and review of financial statements, including preparing working papers for monthly close, and annual audit
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors

Qualifications

  • Minimum postsecondary education in Accounting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and previous experience with a Microsoft ERP system is preferred
  • Detailoriented, with extraordinary organization and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional problemsolving ability, and works well to meet deadlines under pressure
