Link Suspensions of Canada, LP is looking for a
Shipper and Receiver to join our Nisku, AB team


Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for well-organized and efficient preparation and handling of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with team members as to the status of orders and supplying PRO numbers and or Bill of Ladings.
  • Alert supervisor of any issues related to accuracy of orders of their ontime delivery.
  • Maintain all paperwork related to receiving and shipping accurately.
  • Ensure waybills are accurate.
  • Ensure all paperwork is scanned and saved to the Share drive for tracking and audit purpose daily.
  • Monitor packaging material and maintain its inventory level.
  • Professional and courteous response to internal and external inquiries regarding shipment details.
  • Prepare bills of lading and document details for shipment, including adherence to NAFTA guidelines.
  • Coordinate transport of all inbound and outbound product when required.
  • Load and unload truck when required.
  • Receive Consumable / Purchased material into warehouse & into software system when required.
  • Assist in pulling parts for customers' orders and packaging when required.
  • Work with Quality Control incoming or outgoing inspection if required.
  • Participate in Weekly Cycle Counts & generate counts in Supervisors absence.
  • Aid in Investigations for cycle count discrepancy.
  • Monitor Back log report in Supervisors absence.

Education/Experience:


  • Minimum grade 12 education
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating a forklift.
  • Experience with shipping / receiving in an Industrial environment.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Computer skills with MS Office, familiar with ERP systems is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Customs and border crossing documentation experience
  • Inventory Control is an asset.
