Job Title:
Network Management Instructor

Security Vulnerability Assessment Penetration Testing Cybersecurity Cloud Computing Operating Systems Project Management

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Utilize industry knowledge to teach and engage students using a diverse and systematic plan of lectures, presentations, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, shop sessions, seminars, case studies, and independent or group projects.
Prepares teaching materials, including audiovisual and webrelated materials, where appropriate.
Prepares, administers, and marks papers, tests, exams, and other assessments to monitor and evaluate students' progress.
Maintain effective control and administration of classroom facilities, equipment, materials, software, and tools.
Adhere to Eton College policies and procedures, including being available to students, and maintaining confidentiality of students and information.
The instructor must create a positive learning environment by consistently demonstrating preparedness for class, by motivating students to accomplish educational and personal goals and by providing the opportunity to receive and act on student feedback.

Qualifications:

Minimum Certificate in Information Technology and Applied Systems
Diploma in Information Technology
A bachelor's degree preferred, in a related technical field.
Minimum three years of current and relevant industry and teaching experience
Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Teaching experience in a industry certifications are an asset (e.g., MCITP, CCNP, CCNA, CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+)
Experience teaching in an online environment is preferred.
BC Provincial Instructors diploma applicants will be considered as well.

Wage: 25.00 Hourly to $28.00 Hourly

Salary:
$25.00-$28.00 per hour
