You manage the movement of items as large as locomotives down to modules to build train cars.

You work across multiple project teams to build the budget, build the processes for loading and unloading, define the performance metrics, choose partners to manage the movements, to following up on a daily basis with the teams to make sure that the work is being done safely, at quality, and to cost.

You are the primary interface to ensure that our products are reaching our customers.

  • Responsible for ensuring trains and major subcomponents are transported on time and in safe conditions
  • Contribute to supplier selection and total cost of ownership decisions for manufacturing footprint decisions that have freight / transport considerations
  • Act as expert within project teams on movement of rail cars
  • Drive consistency in process, systems & data across AT Sites
  • Facilitates communication towards internal stakeholders and external stakeholders
