Role and Facility Information:

Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist
Temporary Full-Time (32.3 hours per week)

Term: 12 months

Shifts:
Monday to Thursday plus full participation in pediatric anesthesia and acute pain service call

Salary Range:
$210 to $250 per hour

July 3, 2023 to July 2, 2024

BC Children's Hospital provides a full range of pediatric surgical services, including interventional radiology & cardiology, sedation services for oncology, gastroenterology, burns & radiotherapy.


Your appointment will include all clinical anesthesia responsibilities outside of cardiac anesthesia and participation in the activities of the acute pain service.

Remuneration is governed by the contractual agreements in place between the Health Authority and the Anesthesia Physicians with an earning potential between $210 and $250 per hour.

As an integral member of the Department of Anesthesia, your participation and leadership will contribute to the improvement pediatric anesthesia and pain management.

You will have the opportunity to make an impact in both education and research at BC Children's Hospital and the University of British Columbia.
