Standard Job Duties

  • Receive, mark, and price all orders from the various sources within the territory. Orders are to be priced within 412hour window, never exceeding 24 hours.
  • Work with inside sales and the customers to resolve any pricing discrepancies on their purchase orders.
  • Provide tracking information to customers upon request.
  • Update clients on order status upon request.
  • Validate orders through the system. Order acknowledgements should be sent within 48 hours of receipt of clean purchase order from the customer.
  • Notify customers of delays at the direction of a CSR. Change ship dates in Syspro and send clients revised order confirmations.
  • Follow up on any alterations to original orders that are subsequently made by the customer.
  • Orders are to be entered efficiently and accurately in the system.
  • Follow the company ISO9001 procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Postsecondary education an asset
  • A minimum of 5 years related sales or customer service experience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand product knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport is essential.
  • Attention to detail, possessing a sales aptitude and interested in helping the customer and problem solving.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational and time management skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Must be computer literate and up to date on technology.
  • A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Syspro.
  • Able to stay calm under pressure.
