Construction Manager

What We Are Seeking

Who You Are
The Project Manager we are looking for will have:

  • A degree or diploma in engineering, construction management or related education
  • Three years of experience in the construction industry
  • Three years of supervisory and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, subcontracts, and bidding process
  • Strong problemsolving skills, conflict management, and ability to professionally communicate and provide solutions to the team
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Familiarity with MS office suite of apps
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • A valid class G license

Additional qualifications are considered an asset:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Familiarity with time management and fleet management software such as Exaktime, Azuga, Trello

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Manage and organize multiple crews on several jobs at the same time
  • Manage and prioritize multiple jobs with varying requirements and deadlines
  • Plan for the delivery of materials and labor for ongoing projects
  • Manage job progress and make adjustments as necessary
  • Interview, onboard, and train new workers
  • Interact with customers to coordinate installs to best meet the needs of the client
  • Review job details and locates with customer prior to construction start
  • Review vehicle logs to ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements
  • Review worker hours and materials used on specific sites to ensure proper billing
  • Ensure worker tools are well maintained
  • Oversee yard management to ensure materials are organized and available
  • Foster a positive team environment to support team productivity and morale
  • Ensure compliance with H&S policy to achieve an injuryfree workplace

Pay:
$80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
