- Supervise, organize, and distribute workload among technical staff for efficient lab operation.
- Perform lab procedures, ensure quality control, and maintain equipment.
- Manage inventory and address discrepancies/errors as needed.
- Assist in developing procedures and standards, assess staff performance.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment, prepare reports, participate in programs for improvement.
- Adhere to policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Completion of a Medical Laboratory Technologist program
- Current registration with the College of Medical Lab Technologists (CMLTO) required
- Minimum five years of lab experience in Special Coagulation Lab
- Strong theoretical knowledge of Coagulation
- Effective problem-solving skills, time management, and communication
- Computer literacy, commitment to continuing education
