Residential Support Worker - Surrey, Canada - Elizabeth Fry Society
Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the shelter program and care for residents.
- Provide a therapeutic approach for resident integration.
- Record all resident activities for case management.
- Assist in identifying potential problems for case planning.
- Perform light housekeeping duties for equipment and cleaning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma in a related field with 1 year of experience.
- Knowledge of issues impacting disadvantaged women.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Crisis management and trauma understanding.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Food Safe Level.
- First Aid with CPR-C.
- COVID19 vaccination status.
- Tuberculosis Test compliance.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Review.
- Valid driver's license (Class 5).
- Union membership.

Salary: $25.05 per hour
Expected hours: 35.50 per week
