Position Description:

We currently have an exciting role for a Class 5 Van Truck Driver in our 100 Mile location.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate and drive a Class 5 Van Truck Driver.
  • Perform pretrip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, and breaks, troubleshoot issues and equipment, including preventative maintenance.
  • Plan your trip according to the weather conditions.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures for transporting materials.
  • Maintain Logbooks, timesheets, and work orders according to rules and regulations.
  • Must work well with others
  • Additional duties may be required

Qualifications

  • Minimum Class 5 License
years Truck driving experience

  • Clean drivers abstract, and clean criminal search
  • Experience in waste is considered an asset
  • Excellent customer service skills

Preferred Experience:


  • Truck driving in all weather conditions (3 years)
