Description

Manufacturer of custom residential windows & doors for over 35 years is looking for an experienced Service Technician with renovation background to join their growing team.

Primary goal is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:
In-house training provided

Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, install techniques and construction basics in order to repair products in the field. (training on our products will be provided)
Good mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
Ability to work with hand and power tools.
Must be physically capable of lifting greater than 50lbs at times.
Ability to physically climb and work off of ladders and/or scaffolds and carry product up stairs.
Responsible for making adjustments, replacing parts and pieces, taking measurements, installing screens, balancing windows, replacing glass and/or sashes, cleaning windows and any other necessary adjustments. (training will be provided)
Ability to repair sliding glass doors.
Flexibility to handle multiple and changing priorities.
Ability to complete paperwork associated with services.
Excellent interpersonal and customer communications skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes outside the "normal business hours: and travel as required.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Follow all company rules and policies.
Must be able to read and understand measurements.
Clean driving record and current drivers license.

The individual selected must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision. To be considered you need to be a team player, have good attendance & work safely.

Hours of Operation:
Company works hard to schedule services within time frame of 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. Monday to Friday - no weekends

Flexible hours if travelling. Must be able to accommodate a couple overnight trips a month. Expenses covered by company. Company does its best to schedule services within hours of operation.
Company Vehicle to be provided for company work. Must be 25 years of age or older with
Clean Drivers Abstract.

Salary:
negotiable depending on years of experience, especially in field of window and door servicing.

Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
