An incredible opportunity for a HR & Payroll Assistant to take the next step in their career.


Location:
Ontario, Canada


Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with one to two days per week from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM)


Duties:


  • Manage HR functions for Ontario and British Columbia.
  • Handle endtoend payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
  • Update and create job descriptions.
  • Implement OH&S and manage Work Safe claims.
  • Develop and review policies for compliance with legislation.
  • Support employee engagement and company culture activities.
  • Assist with HR projects and additional tasks as assigned.
  • Learn and handle multinational payroll activities (e.g., Australia, New Zealand, UK)
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and assist with reports.
  • Maintain HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and update HR policies.
  • Process workers' compensation payments and manage reimbursements.
  • Assist with payroll across the organization and HRM software implementation.
  • Maintain employee files and develop reward programs.

Requirements:


  • Fully Canadian working rights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience (high level of exposure to and competency with Excel is a must)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Minimum of 2 years HR experience.
  • Proficiency in HR software systems; experience with
    ADP is a plus.

$24.00-$25.00 per hour
