Specialized Van Driver
(Part-time, 1 positions)
Reporting to the Manager, Transportation Services, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients both within Trent Hills and throughout Northumberland County.
Key Accountabilities:
- Meet, greet and board passengers at their pickup locations
- Safely and comfortably, transport and deboard passengers at their destinations
- Complete administrative activities including the collection and security of cash
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and wellmaintained
- Conduct vehicle safety checks.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid "F" Ontario Drivers' License and proof of a clean driver's abstract
- Possession of current Emergency First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Demonstrated ability to perform the physical duties of the job
- Demonstrated excellent and safe driving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent timemanagement skills and a demonstrated ability to adhere to schedules
- Demonstrated ability to present self in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum age requirement 25 years due to insurance policy
- Must have proof of 2 doses of COVID 19 vaccine
The hours of work are 15 per week with no set guarantee. The hourly rate is ($18.42 per hr.)
Community Care Northumberland is a non-profit, multi-service, volunteer-based community support organization serving residents of Northumberland County.
