The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Analyst, based out of our Kitchener location

Responsibilities would include:

Assist in the completion of various month end tasks including journal entry, sales commissions, material usage variance analysis, labour efficiency variance analysis preparation etc.
Prepare and provide P&L analysis for monthly financial statements for assigned profit centers
Updating weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators
Review and analyze foreign currency balances
Ensuring that all Engineering and Tooling trial costs are invoiced
Provide weekly sales information to management
Maintaining costing standards in MRP system
Analyze and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
Maintain a Fixed Asset addition schedule
Assist in the preparation of the Capex budget and AOP
Has three or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
Has a University degree with a major in finance or accounting related field
Preferably has a CPA Designation or working towards a CPA designation
Is proficient with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
