The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Analyst, based out of our Kitchener location


Responsibilities would include:

  • Assist in the completion of various month end tasks including journal entry, sales commissions, material usage variance analysis, labour efficiency variance analysis preparation etc.
  • Prepare and provide P&L analysis for monthly financial statements for assigned profit centers
  • Updating weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators
  • Review and analyze foreign currency balances
  • Ensuring that all Engineering and Tooling trial costs are invoiced
  • Provide weekly sales information to management
  • Maintaining costing standards in MRP system
  • Analyze and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain a Fixed Asset addition schedule
  • Assist in the preparation of the Capex budget and AOP
  • Has three or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
  • Has a University degree with a major in finance or accounting related field
  • Preferably has a CPA Designation or working towards a CPA designation
  • Is proficient with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
