Locally based furniture delivery company in Surrey is seeking 5-ton truck drivers and delivery swampers.

The position consists of mainly retail household furniture delivery as well as some small moves of various types. Both drivers and swampers are required to carry furniture and work as a team. Experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train.

This is a full-time position with variable hours depending on the volume of work, we operate 6 days a week Tuesday to Saturday and hours vary from 4 to 10 hours daily.

CANDITATE MUST BE AVILIBLE 6 DAYS A WEEK

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE STEEL TOED FOOTWEAR, APROVED BY THE C.S.A.

CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY HEAVY ITEMS ON A REGULAR BASIS.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND BE ABLE TO WORK IN A TEAM ENVIROMENT.

KNOWLEDGE OF THE LOWER MAINLAND AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS DEFFINETLEY AN ASSETT., HOWEVER AS MENTIONED ABOVE WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN.

Starting wage is $18 to $23 per hour. It can be negotiated based on experience upon interview. Benefits are also provided after 6 months of employment. We can also accommodate flexible scheduling in most cases.
