What You'll Be Doing


The role of Analyst, Business Architecture is to support Capital Markets with their strategic initiatives by managing various projects simultaneously.


The team help bridge the gap between capital markets products and processes, facilitating evolution in support of our growing Capital Markets businesses, ensuring that we can implement front to back solutions in the most optimal and expedite manner, ultimately supporting revenue growth, product expansion, and cost control.

Specifically working with capital markets downstream teams to deliver technology and process solutions against their core requirements and not just their current process.

How You'll Succeed- Project delivery - Responsible for contributing to all project lifecycle activities associated with delivering projects that are driven by re-engineering and simplification of Front to Back processes for Capital Markets products.

Maintain effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project. Act on ad-hoc requests/projects as required in a timely manner.

Support Line of Business on CIBC-wide project implementation, including the development of policy / procedures, development of project plans, business requirements, executive presentation and training materials.

Who You Are- You can demonstrate a general understanding of global trading and capital markets products both from a trading and life cycle perspective would be an advantage.- You have an undergraduate degree; MBA/CFA/CA is an asset- You can demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

Experience in Agile Methodology or SCRUM qualifications useful.- You know that details matter. Strong problem solving, analytical, judgment and change-implementation capabilities. Excellent oral and written communications skills.- You look beyond the moment. Strong multitasking and time-management skills - Ability to manage deadlines while balancing multiple priorities. Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.- You're passionate about people.
