About the Role:


The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead the talent acquisition function and will partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement best-in-class strategies in talent acquisition.

The individual will design and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent and will position AGF as an employer of choice in the market, ultimately attracting top-tier talent.


About the Team:


AGF's Human Resources Department is comprised of a team of professionals that provide a full suite of human resources services from a strategic and operations perspective.

To be successful the team focuses on meeting the current and future needs of the business and demonstrates both thought leadership and a disciplined practical approach to the human resources practices required at AGF to enable our success.

We ultimately have the accountability and responsibility to deliver and retain the talent that the business needs in order to effectively realize its' strategies.

To achieve our goals, we build trusted relationships and collaborate with business leaders to understand and help shape the current and future human resource needs of our businesses; work to increase leadership capability and deepen employee engagement across all AGF's businesses.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead AGF's talent acquisition strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to understand business requirements across AGF.
  • Develop and execute an endto end campus recruitment strategy to identify top coop/interns, summer students and new graduates by developing key campus relationships and business partnerships to ensure AGF attracts and retains diverse, early career talent.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with staffing agencies and educational institutions to stay informed about industry talent trends. Build and nurture a network of industry contacts to further build brand awareness and referrals.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and to make recommendations and streamline processes.
  • Research and communicate market trends and best practices that support effective talent strategies, contributing to the team's ability to make data and insightsdriven decisions.

Your Qualifications:

  • Business degree/college diploma with a Human Resources specialization or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • A minimum of five years of senior talent acquisition experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing fullcycle recruitment and employer branding initiatives.
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills with all levels.
  • Experience maintaining and administering an Applicant Tracking System (Workday preferred) and demonstrated expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills with all levels of the organization both internal and external.
  • Strong organization skills and judgement with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Knowledge of applicable provincial, and local legislation and regulations related to employment.
