INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS TECHNICIAN
Join our electrical operations team in SK. The Instrumentation & Controls Technician will provide instrumentation and controls integration, installations and commissioning services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

-
Perform control system integration, loop checks, startup and commissioning services**-
Install new, calibrate and maintain various types of field instruments
-
Troubleshoot control system components including but not limited to: PLC hardware, instrument and control signal and power wiring
-
Troubleshoot control system components including but not limited to: transmitters, switches, solenoid valves, control valves, I/P's and similar devices
-
Ability to read and interpret: P&ID's, loop drawings, I/O lists and other project related technical documentation
-
Experienced in the use of calibration equipment, including but not limited to: HART communicators, test pumps and gauges, digital multimeters and other test and measurement equipment
-
Work in industrial work settings
-
Workaround energized power and control equipment
-
Determine the appropriate selection of materials/tools/equipment
-
Keep maintenance/quality/test reports and documentation
-
Work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

-
Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyperson certificate
-
Must have experience in instrumentation and controls commissioning
-
Must have experience in industrial setting
-
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
-
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain a clean abstract
-
Must be available to work out-of-town and regular overnight travel
-
7/7 shift with camp provided
