Description
The WestRock Mississauga facility is looking for FTOPs to work with the Bindery team. This position is responsible for the daily operations, packing, drilling, banding, etc.


How you will impact WestRock:


  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
  • Prepare orders for finished packaging either cartons or flat pack as per customer specs.
  • Set up Shranklin for proper packaging size when shrinkwrapping.
  • Inspect finished packages and place them into the final container.
  • Setting up conveyor for combo orders.
  • Balance combo orders.
  • Set up PMC.
  • Comply to all SOP's and Quality Procedures.
  • General maintenance and housekeeping of department.
  • Perform all related duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:


  • Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
