Why is this role important?

Purpose:

The Colourist is responsible and focus on Joe Fresh Colour Operations by achieving and maintaining colour excellence at Joe Fresh.

This role requires working with many stakeholders to ensure accurate and on-time colour execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Own colour review process and procedure for all lab dip and print.
Managing the preproduction approval processensuring season development completion with colour consistency and ontime.
Communication with internal and external stakeholders for any colour review questions, issues, etc.
Responsible for analyzing print techniques and providing direction to manufactures.
Support vendor partners scorecard analysis and arrange corrective action as need based on colour submit data.
Communicate colour palettes and colour calendar milestones to mill/vendor partners to follow throughout the course of development
Ensure data accuracy in PLM system
Create Seasonal colour theme in PLM
Manage and track the colour swatch purchases and expenses for JF soft line divisions
Manage the internal and external Munsell 100 testing and it records.
Supporting Colour Manager on other duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

BA OR BS in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, or other relevant area of study or experience
5 years+ of experience in related field
Must pass Munsell 100 Colour Test and have a trained colour eye
Knowledge of technical colour science and management including lab dip, print, and bulk lot process.
Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize workloads, meet critical deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective communicator, verbal and written. Strong and confident presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Suite-Illustrator
Familiar with PLM system
