HR BUSINESS PARTNER to join our team
What you can expect in this role:
As an ambassador of our people strategy and employer brand, you will actively build and support the employee experience with our Operations teams.
With the mission of empowering and upskilling people leaders, the HR Business Partner engages as a trusted advisor in building high-performing teams.
The HRBP works collaboratively with people leaders and employees to strengthen our culture with innovative initiatives and programs.The incumbent will initially support the teams in the province of Québec but should be motivated by the opportunity to support other regions as the Company continues to grow.
More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:
- Drives change by supporting people leaders and all employee groups to proactively foster a culture of high performance through living our values
- Adopting a coaching mindset, supports people leaders on different aspects of the employee lifecycle, including performance management, recruitment, training and development
- Ensures new hires are effectively integrated into the Company and department, supporting people leaders with regular touch points and onboarding plans
- Ensures local employment standards are adhered to through effective policy development and processes
- Keeps a pulse on employee engagement and supports the roll out of surveys and drives the fulfillment of relevant action plans
- Supports the implementation of key HR initiatives such as compensation, contribution management, HRIS, ATS,
- Responsible for internal communications (including translation English to French/French to English)
- Participates in global and local projects supporting our goal to continuously improve the human resources function and provide best in class support to our business
Here's the profile we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications, Psychology or other related field
- 5+ years of experience in progressive HR business partner role. Some additional experience as an HR generalist and with internal communications/translation would be considered an asset
- Experience in a highgrowth, global environment, experiencing cultural transformation
- CHRP/PHR certifications considered an asset along with knowledge of current federal employment law, HR theory and practices
- Bilingual (verbal and written proficiency)
- French/English, knowledge of Spanish also considered an asset
A few more relevant details:
- Travel required 15% of the time, including overnight travel
- Hybrid/remote possible; the HRBP should be on site across the province of Québec at least 23 days per week
