MANAGER POSITION

At LOCAL 1794, we are a busy gastropub that takes pride in excellent customer service that has guests coming back regularly.

Our team is about ensuring that every guest leaves happy and has the best experience during their visit.

We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Manager who is passionate about providing excellent customer service while ensuring the restaurant is running efficiently with a high profit margin.

We are looking for a manager who can lead a team to fulfill this vision.

We are looking for a leader who is passionate about people and takes pride in providing the perfect guest dining experience.

We are currently looking for a Manager that will be accountable for maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals through leading a team of servers and bartenders.

Hospitality is innate in every member of our team. We believe when we work together, we can deliver a better experience to our guests.
The Manager will be responsible for the restaurant's daily operation.

We are looking for a Manager who has the ability to effectively run the front of the house and work effectively with the back of the house.

The Manager is responsible for ensuring that the restaurant is being operated as a "Benchmark Restaurant" and is to the brand standards.

The Manager will be accountable for key financials (Sales, and KPI, Labour costs, food & beverage costs. (Net Promoter, Guest Experience, Steritech, Engagement, Turnover). The Manager must be able to advertise, market and use social media to promote the restaurant.

The Manager's primary role will be to lead a team of servers and bartenders to ensure that guests receive the best experience while dining at a high volume location.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years hospitality industry experience in a leadership role
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Business Management and/or proven
personal commitment to professional development an asset

  • Proven success with both people development in leadership positions and long
- term sales growth

  • Proven ability to achieve results through others
  • Demonstrate ability to attract and retain excellent staff members and to develop high performing teams
  • Leadership and communication: has a leadership style that is developmental vs. policing, promotes a culture of dialogue, role models values and practices of the company
  • Proven entrepreneurial spirit through having presence "on the floor" and in the community

Pay:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
