The Residence Corporation is seeking a part-time Client Service Attendant who is passionate about providing exceptional service and who can demonstrate compassion for clients of the Residence.

We want our client experience to be "world class" and are looking for a lead hand with leadership skills and hands-on experience in general handyperson repairs.

The Residence Corporation is located adjacent to the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus and provides accommodations to patients and families of The Ottawa Hospital.

- profit corporation with an aim to ensure we provide accommodation that is clean, safe, and hospitable for short and longer staying guests.

We are looking for a Part Time Hotel Client Service Attendant. This position will be Monday - Friday hours will vary between 8-4pm

The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Incumbents may be scheduled to perform either of the two main activities or a combination thereof. The duties include the provision of cleaning and refresh services for short term client accommodations, offices, and various suites within the building to ensure optimal cleanliness and ongoing upkeep of the suites.
  • Incumbents are also responsible for performing laundry duties, folding of linen and replacement and stocking linen storeroom with fresh linens for use to refresh suites and supply carts.
- vacuuming all carpeted areas of the suite, sweeping, and mopping non-carpeted areas, bathroom cleaning including toilet, tub/shower, sink, and floor sanitation.

  • Cleaning of refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves and other kitchen related appliances, dishware, utensils, and cupboards as may be required.
  • Waste disposal as required.
  • Replace cleaning supplies as required (i.e., soaps, towels, toilet paper, etc.)
  • Running laundry machines
  • Maintains confidentiality of all personal health and confidential information (guests, staff, other)
  • May from time to time provide coverage for staff vacation Performs other related duties as required
  • Experience in hotel, long term care or hospital setting housekeeping services
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to perform physical duties which may include bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods of time
  • Basic skills in using Microsoft Office Products would be an asset

% in lieu of Extended Health and Dental Benefits, option to join HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan)
