Eaton's ES AMER PCS CA division is currently seeking a Material Handler Intern.

What you'll do:

Eaton is looking for a Material Handler Intern for 4-month for summer term. This position is based in our Perth, Ontario Distribution Centre.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position takes part in all stock handling duties such as receiving, order picking, loading/unloading trucks, replenishment, cycle counting and Physical Inventory.

Responsibilities for Material Handler:

Picking and receiving material; move and pick up material from other departments, as needed
Inspect and verify inbound material for condition, quantity and accuracy
Packing and shipping Purolator shipments
Inventory cycle counts
Assist with offsetting warehouse vacations within the summer months
Perform other related duties as assigned
Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as the Safety and Environmental standards

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Enrolled and returning to an applicable postsecondary program.
Must be legally allowed to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in future.
This position does not offer relocation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment an asset.

Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects, in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
